Reading Food Labels
Scarborough Health Network – Centenary

Event Details: This week's mini-talk is on Reading Food Labels. In this day and age, many of us purchase and cook with pre-packaged foods, such as most store bought breads, canned goods, pastas and pre-made meals. But how do you know what is actually in these products, and whether or not they are healthy choices? In this mini talk, you will learn (1) how to  read labels found on packaged food, (2) what you should look for when reading food labels, and (3) how to make healthy choices when shopping for food.
